It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence : Baths

I went to see Baths play with El Ten Eleven and Dosh at The Knitting Factory last week. The show was really impressive, especially in light of the fact that Baths is so young. He’s only twenty-one, but his stuff is quality.

I’ve been listening to album Cerulean for awhile now. Even just listening to the first song, Apologetic Shoulderblades, really blew me away. It’s really easy to groove on his down-tempo style. The lyrics and samples on the album really pack a punch.

I keep coming back to Lovely Bloodflow, as well. The video is beautiful and strange and hard for me to get over:

If you want to listen to some highly gorgeous beats, then definitely get yourself a copy of Cerulean.

Check out his myspace.

Word is he’ll be around for CMJ this year, as well. Don’t miss out.
